Finale

The Bucks don’t need a win and the Celtics do, so logic says Boston should definitely be able to prevail on Wednesday. Logic, sometimes, has no place in the NBA.

The Los Angeles Lakers, who have more reason to tank than any team in the NBA, have won four straight games. The Lakers sat down three veteran players for the rest of the season several weeks back to make sure this exact scenario wouldn’t happen.

Sitting players make the Lakers worse in terms of talent, but the young and hungry players who took their minutes have an edge to them. That might be the case on Wednesday when the Bucks meet the Celtics in Boston for their last game of the season.

Predictions and Leaderboard:

Lukas Harkins:  Celtics by 3 — 48-33, 891 point differential

Rohan Katti: Celtics by 7 — 44-37, 997 point differential
