Style Set In Stone?

AM: Toronto’s style of play seems to indicate that they’re going to live and die by the combined play of Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan rather than focusing on some of the other matchups it would seem they could exploit. Is that a fair assessment?

BB: This is not an easy question to answer. The Raptors have been waiting for two years for DeMarre Carroll to provide floor spacing with his outside shooting, and we’re still tapping our foot like Sonic the Hedgehog. If he can open up the floor, that will relieve a lot of pressure on our backcourt.

Jonas Valanciunas isn’t receiving sufficient touches to have the scoring impact he should.

Terrence Ross and a draft pick were shipped to Orlando for Serge Ibaka. He’s been terrific on both sides of the ball, but there are times when we sorely miss T-Ross’s skill at creating and making three-pointers.

All of which leads me to agreeing with your premise.
