Summing up the Bucks’ season in parts like this, you can see that it was a largely positive year, especially considering where expectations were at many points during the season. Still though, there were areas that could have been better, as we went through.

The “Own The Future” era has run its course, to be replaed by the “Fear the Deer” slogan that signifies an organizational shift toward contention.
The plan is set, tbe pieces are in place, and the only thing missing is the individual improvement of many younger pieces.
More will be expected of the Bucks next year, in terms of both individual performance and team success.
It’s likely that many of the issues mentioned here will be important talking points for next season, although they will be evaluated on a new standard.
How much farther does Giannis’ ceiling go? How will Jabari look in his return?
Will Thon take the next step? Can the team avoid the type of post-playoff setback they fell victim to in 2015-16?

It was a season of highs and lows to be sure, and what the Bucks do over the next few months will set us up for a while new set of Bests and Worsts next year.
