Summer Focus and Final Grade

Although Tony Snell stood out in a breakout season with the Milwaukee Bucks, there are still things he can work on heading into next season. First and foremost, getting himself slightly more involved on offense couldn’t hurt anything.

More from Behind the Buck Pass

It’s important to make sure Giannis gets his touches, but the Greek Freak can’t do everything. With Jabari Parker’s health in question going forward, the Bucks need more from their guards then they got for most of this season.

Snell adding a couple points per game could be huge for that. One way he could do it is by spending the summer emulating Kyle Korver and J.J. Redick, and mastering the art of moving without the ball.

The Bucks offense often gets stale when guys stand around, which happens all too often. If Snell became better at finding space to get open looks in half-court sets, it would help every other Buck out on offense.

Even without flying around like Korver, Snell outplayed all of his expectations and helped the Bucks get back to the playoffs after a disappointing lottery trip last season. For that, it’s hard to give him a bad grade for the year.
