Fit With Bucks
Tyreke Evans should not start on the Milwaukee Bucks. He’s a defensive liability who can’t be relied on to play the majority of the season these days, and he’s not an overly efficient player on offense.

Still, for the right price Evans might provide a nice spark for Milwaukee from the bench. The Bucks lacked that sort of player last season outside of spurts of Michael Beasley, who can’t play at one of the guard spots in the second unit.
Milwaukee needs that change-of-pace guard. Anybody who is a known three-point shooter will likely be prohibitively expensive in NBA free agency this time around, after 29 teams missed out on shooters like Seth Curry, but Evans might fall through the cracks.
Besides, the Bucks have been tied to the multi-positional Evans for a while. Rumors surfaced about a potential Greg Monroe-for-Evans swap, although it’s not clear if the Bucks or Pelicans were more interested in that possibility.

Either way, for a cheap enough price Tyreke Evans might be able to make the Milwaukee Bucks better next season. He’s far from a sure thing though, so any amount of substantial guaranteed money in a potential deal could look ugly down the line.
