Luc Mbah a Moute is expected to be available in NBA free agency this summer. Could he come home to the Milwaukee Bucks?

Luc Mbah a Moute, who somehow has started more than two-thirds of the games he’s played in across his nine-season career despite never scoring more than 9.9 points per game in a single season, is expected to let his player option pass and enter NBA free agency this summer.

More from Bucks Free Agency

Mbah a Moute is not the eminent free agent the Los Angeles Clippers have to deal with, and in all honesty replacing him in the starting lineup with more of a scoring threat has long since been an obvious need for Los Angeles. Mbah a Moute may seek out greener pastures while the Clips worry about Blake Griffin and Chris Paul.

That leaves room for other teams to make a run at the lanky forward. The Milwaukee Bucks might be one of those teams. Mbah a Moute has a history with the Bucks, as the team drafted him back in 2008, and he’s played more with Milwaukee than any other franchise.

The Bucks starting lineup does not have a spot left for Mbah a Moute, so if he’s very interested in that, Milwaukee would not make for a great destination. Most reports have him as a solid teammate though, and the 30-year-old forward likely isn’t going to be making too many demands about his playing time going forward.

To find out if Mbah a Moute could make sense as a Bucks target in NBA free agency, we’ll look through his strengths, weaknesses, potential salary and his fit with the Bucks.
