With no real consensus on how the Milwaukee Bucks’ draft will play out, our team discussed the options.
As the NBA landscape threatens to change at any moment thanks to any number of blockbuster trades under consideration, this year’s NBA draft marks an interesting juncture for the Milwaukee Bucks.
After a strong finish to the season saw the Bucks pick up valuable playoff experience and move out of the lottery, they ended up with picks 17 and 48 ahead of Thursday night’s draft at the Barclays Center.
While they are solid picks that can deliver you rotation pieces if used wisely, or a star if you’re lucky, they also create much more uncertainty than you see when a team has a pick higher up the board.

With the 17th pick in particular, opinions seem to differ greatly on what the Milwaukee Bucks could and should do. As such, with only hours to go until that decision gets made, the search for clarity continues.
In an attempt to find some answers, we gathered together nine of our staff members here at Behind the Buck Pass for a mini-roundtable of sorts on the options facing the Bucks and new general manager Jon Horst.
Although we might help to offer you some clarity on who the Bucks should look to target in the second round, we’re unlikely to help create a consensus what Milwaukee should or will do in the first round.
Without further ado, though, let’s talk draft!
