A long, rangy and athletic wing, Muhammad has yet to fully realize the potential that many believed he had when he entered the league out of UCLA, and in large part that may be attributable to inconsistent opportunities in Minnesota.
Muhammad has never really figured out his shooting since turning pro, as his numbers have fluctuated dramatically from year to year. That doesn’t stop there from being value in many of his natural abilities, though.
The 24-year-old has proven himself to be capable of creating scoring opportunities for himself out of his athleticism, yet still his greatest appeal might come in the idea of what he could be defensively if focus and consistency become issues of the past.
