C – Greg Monroe: 79 overall

Start of 2K17: 79

End of 2K17: 80

Moose had a bit of a surprising season this last year while coming off the bench, but very rarely do bench players reach that level of being an 80+ overall player. With that being said, I believe that he will enter the 2K18 game as a 79 overall without much room moving up or down throughout the year. At this point in his career, most people know about Monroe’s game and he is not adding too much flash on either end of the floor.

Like Middleton, Moose is not the prototypical video game center. He does not stretch the floor very well and is mostly used in post-up situations. As the NBA game drifts away from back-to-the-basket centers, the video game world is drifting away even faster. Being able to run the floor, rise up for big dunks, and shoot the three is what most players want out of each of their players.
