Shooting Guard
Shooting guard is a really tough All-Time Team spot for the Milwaukee Bucks. Obviously Sidney Moncrief is an all-timer for the Bucks, and one of the best defensive guards the NBA has ever seen.
On the other hand, young Ray Allen was a truly incredible talent. It’s pretty hard to go wrong either way with this pick, even if Allen’s career with the Bucks was cut short by a tragically stupid trade made because George Karl can’t deal with star players.
Let’s compare their best Bucks seasons against each other and see if we can’t pick a winner for our All-Time Team starting five.
Player | Season | Age | GS | MP | FGA | FG% | 3PA | 3P% | FTA | FT% | TRB | AST | STL | BLK | TOV | PF | PTS |

This is tough. On the one hand, Squid is such a great defender. On the other, Allen’s spacing would give this Bucks team a huge boost, especially considering there are other players who aren’t so great at shooting the ball.
Moncrief moves the ball a little bit better too, but passing isn’t much of a concern with this team. I like Squid just a bit better as an all-around player, but we’re going to go with Ray here just because he would feast on open looks with this group.
