Milwaukee Bucks: Mirza Teletovic 2017-18 season preview
Mirza Teletovic struggled to find any consistency during his first season with the Milwaukee Bucks. Can he turn that around in his second season with the team?
Life with the Milwaukee Bucks hasn’t gone according to plan for Mirza Teletovic up until this point.
Having experienced a career year as a member of the Phoenix Suns in the 2015-16 season, Teletovic came to Milwaukee after signing a three-year, $30 million deal during the spending spree that was free agency in the summer of 2016.
For a team in need of bolstering their perimeter shooting as well as the opportunity to reunite with head coach Jason Kidd, who Teletovic played under for the 2013-14 season while with the Brooklyn Nets, there were of plenty of reasons that made sense for the Bosnian native to take his talents to the Cream City.

However, the picture perfect scenario in which Teletovic would make a smooth transition to Milwaukee definitely did not come to be last season by any stretch of the imagination.
All throughout the year, Teletovic struggled to catch fire while on the court and more importantly, from beyond the arc.
Although his various shooting percentages don’t rank as career lows statistically (the lone exception being his 37.3 percent field goal percentage), there’s no shortage of evidence showing that Teletovic underperformed in the areas where the team were relying on him to make a positive impact.
As a result of his struggles, Teletovic’s role began to change the deeper we went into the season with Kidd electing to go with whoever had it going on a given night between him and known bucket-getter Michael Beasley.
Now with a new season approaching, Teletovic has the chance to put his struggles from last year behind him and a bounce back campaign would put him in better standing within the team’s rotation as well as many Bucks fans.
Whether he ultimately will is obviously a big question, but Teletovic’s services would go a long way for a Bucks team looking to take that next step and especially over the course of a long season.
Without further ado, let’s dive deeper into what Teletovic has to bring to the Bucks, what his role could be this season and much more.
