What does Wilson offer?

Despite only logging one year of true individual success last season as a Wolverine, Wilson certainly possesses an intriguing skill-set, one that feels tailor made for the Bucks.

On the offensive end, Wilson is fit to stretch the floor efficiently after hitting 37.3 percent of his three-point attempts as a junior in Ann Arbor last season. While he’ll be looked upon to carry over that success in spotting up from beyond the arc, Wilson is equally capable of scoring on the move, whether it’s off of cuts or hitting a shot or two off the dribble.

Of course, if you’re selected by the Bucks via the draft, a player must have an appealing amount of length and athletic upside as well and Wilson certainly fits that to a T.

It’s on the defensive end where Wilson’s athleticism and physical tools really shine as he possesses plenty of mobility and is very capable of manning the perimeter as well as acting as part of the last line of defense to send away a shot attempt near the rim.

But as he struggled with during his time at Michigan, the biggest test Wilson faces in his rookie year and beyond will be matching up against the increased physicality that’s so prevalent throughout the NBA.

Whether it’s battling on the boards on both ends or working his way down low, Wilson will certainly have to break out of his comfort zone and get accustomed to playing with the physical gifts he holds.
