BOSTON CELTICS. B-. This is certainly not the start that the Boston Celtics were looking for. After two games the Celtics have lost the season opener, their home opener, and one of their best players. <p>It was going to be a tough game for Boston regardless of last night’s outcome. The second game of a back-to-back, after playing on national television against a team eager to start the season. Boston shot the ball well from deep and, after a run in the third quarter, led for a majority of the second half.</p> <p>Still it was not enough, Giannis Antetokounmpo picked apart the Celtics’ defense, which allowed him to score essentially all of his points at the rim or at the line. Meanwhile, the Celtics’ star player, Kyrie Iriving, handed in an abysmal 7-25 shooting night. Teams in the NBA are rarely able to overcome such an off night from their star players, and the Celtics were no exception on Wednesday night.</p>. Eastern Conference. 0-2
