Milwaukee Bucks Game Preview: Oct. 20 vs Cleveland Cavaliers

Cavalier to watch – LeBron James
Even if it’s a boring, safe pick, LeBron James is so obviously the one player anybody tuning into a Cleveland Cavaliers game really wants to see. In a cruel reminder of the average basketball fan’s complete physical inadequacy, King James said he was out of shape after Cleveland’s first game.

LeBron spent all summer working out like a monster and put up 29 points, 16 rebounds, nine assists and two blocks in that game. If he’s out of shape, the rest of us mere mortals are basically walking corpses.
Anyway, even at age 32 and in year 15 of his nearly unprecedented run as one of, if not the best player in the NBA, LeBron is clearly still ready to go to war against any team. He might take more nights off than he used to, but if LeBron is playing, some poor team is probably suffering because of it.
That poor team will be the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night. Seeing who guards LeBron is going to be fascinating. Giannis will doubtlessly want the cover himself, as he’s admitted before that he loves those kinds of challenges, and both players are lining up at power forward at the moment.
It’ll be interesting to see what happens if Cavs coach Tyronn Lue rolls out lineups with LeBron, Love and Tristan Thompson. Against Milwaukee’s starting five that would leave one of Tony Snell, Khris Middleton or Malcolm Brogdon to guard Love if Giannis takes LeBron. The Bucks’ lack of true fours will result in some interesting match-ups this season.
