DeAndre Liggins here to stay

When DeAndre Liggins signed with the Milwaukee Bucks it was not clear what his role would be.  Added just two days before the start of the season with the 15th roster spot, it was widely believed that if he were to work his way into the rotation, it would be later in the season.

That certainly has not been the case so far this season as Liggins has played meaningful minutes in the past three Milwaukee contests.

The results have been mixed. His defensive intensity certainly has been helpful for this young Bucks team, and having a player with experience on multiple wining teams is usually a good thing.

The downside is Liggins provides essentially no threat on the offensive end of the court. Through his first three games as a Buck, Liggins has scored only five points. The problem is not only the lack of points, but also the lack of a threat to score. When Liggins is on the court, the team is essentially playing four-on-five.

It is unclear if Kidd will continue to keep Liggins so heavily in the rotation. However, from what we have seen so far there is little reason to think that anyone will be taking his place anytime soon.
