Same game, different day would accurately describe Giannis Antetokounmpo’s astounding start to the season and Sunday afternoon was no different.
Scoring 33 points, hauling in 12 rebounds and dishing out five assists in his 38 minutes of action, Giannis added to his blistering pace as the Bucks earned their fourth victory of the year in comfortable fashion.
Not only did he score the team’s first nine points to start the contest (including a sweet pull up three-pointer), Antetokounmpo had a hand in creating most of the team’s offense throughout the first quarter as he scored or assisted for 22 of the team’s 28 points in the period.
While that eventually stabilized throughout the game with multiple contributors stepping up, Giannis remained undeterred as he continued to score with ease, no matter how many Hawks players stood in his way to the rim, as seen in the following clip:
Through six games, Antetokounmpo has made the unbelievable look very easy and there’s no sign of him slowing down anytime soon.
