Major key for Milwaukee – Multiple double-digit scorers

In two of the Bucks’ three losses so far, Giannis Antetokounmpo has received virtually no help in carrying the team’s scoring load.

In Tuesday’s blowout loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Greek Freak was the only Buck to surpass the 10-point mark, while in their previous defeat to the Cleveland Cavaliers only Malcolm Brogdon stepped up to offer 16 points.

Both of those games resulted in 19-point losses for the Bucks, while in the one loss where there was a more balanced scoring effort, the Bucks only lost by seven points to the Celtics having had four players score in double digits.

It’s as simple as Giannis is currently doing so much for the Bucks that if he gets even just a little help from his teammates, the Bucks are likely going to come down the stretch with a chance to win.

It’s not beyond Giannis to lead the Bucks to a victory single-handedly, but in a road game on the second night of a back-to-back the rest of Milwaukee’s roster would have to ask themselves serious questions if that burden is placed on him again.
