Win In 6 Podcast #157: Free throw woes, Thon Maker, second unit
By Adam McGee
In the latest edition of our Milwaukee Bucks’ Win In 6 Podcast, we discuss the team’s free throw difficulties, Thon Maker dropping out of the starting lineup, and the lackluster second unit.
The latest episode of our Win In 6 Podcast arrives as the Milwaukee Bucks prepare to take a three-game losing streak on the road to the Cleveland Cavaliers and San Antonio Spurs.
After a week filled with disappointment, many of the team’s long running issues again raised their ugly head, but there were also more recent wrinkles to emerge over the past seven days.
Rather than retreading discussions that we have been having for the last couple of years or so, this week our focus fell on some of those more recent issues.

I wrote about the impact a negative free throw differential has been having on the Bucks’ season, and we discussed that issue, some of the causes, and potential solutions (where they exist).
We talked about Thon Maker’s move to the bench, and what it could mean for his role when Greg Monroe returns from injury.
We also touched on the lackluster effort of the Bucks’ second unit, how positive contributions from that group are also not being utilized, and more.
Before we wrapped up, we updated our total of Jack Bauers after a particularly kind Reggie Jackson performance, and we shared our predictions for the week ahead.
Joining me for this episode was co-site expert, and disgruntled clock changer, Jordan Treske.
