Major key for Milwaukee – Maintain the high energy level

The Bucks could well come into Saturday’s game on a mental high following a win on Friday night in San Antonio, a strong debut from Eric Bledsoe, and just a sense of relief at finally being back home.

The key question is whether that will be enough to outweigh the obvious physical tiredness they’re bound to be feeling too.

Saturday’s game will tip just over 20 hours after the final buzzer sounded in the AT&T Center, and with the Bucks having to fly home from Texas through the night, it would certainly be understandable if the players weren’t feeling at their freshest.

The schedule has given the Lakers a distinct advantage for this matchup in that regard, as Luke Walton‘s team haven’t played since they lost to the Washington Wizards on Thursday night.

The Bucks managed to grab the win over the Spurs due to the intensity of their effort, particularly on the defensive end. They need to be careful to ensure they match that output on Saturday by fighting through fatigue, and not taking their foot off the gas against perceived lesser opposition.

The shape of Milwaukee’s rotation and how much they lean on Bledsoe will be interesting to watch within the context of fatigue too.
