Major key for Sacramento – Move the ball and value possession

With the first meeting between these teams so fresh in the memory, it’s hard to look beyond the areas where the Kings fell short against the Bucks on Tuesday.

The Kings are a low-assist team at only 20 per game, but on a more positive note they’re also lower than the average in terms of turnovers at 14.8 per game.

Against a switch-heavy defensive effort from the Bucks earlier in the week, both of those numbers trended in the wrong direction for Dave Joerger’s team.

At the game in the Golden 1 Center, Sacramento managed only a meager 15 assists and compounded their issues with 16 turnovers.

Of course, the Bucks have the personnel and length to force the Kings into errors if they’re locked in, but at the very least, Sacramento is going to need more playmaking from De’Aaron Fox and George Hill, alongside greater discipline on the whole.
