Giannis does it all and it’s still not enough

Giannis Antetokounmpo still needs help. The difference now is that for the most part he’s getting more than adequate contributions from key teammates.

While Giannis went off for 40, Eric Bledsoe, Khris Middleton and Tony Snell combined for 48 of their own on an efficient 16-of-28 from the field. In looking at Milwaukee’s roster, it’s hard to ask for more than 88 points from four key starters.

Instead, the Bucks need more from the bench, both in terms of personnel and the man calling the shots from the coach’s seat.

Having been ably defended by Al Horford in the last meeting between these teams, Giannis made light work of the variety of defenders Brad Stevens threw at him during his 39 minutes on the court.

The Greek Freak was aggressive in getting to the rim, and as a result he earned frequent trips to the line and left the Celtics battling foul trouble too.

Antetokounmpo can do so much on both ends that top priority has to be identifying systems that can be implemented on both ends of the floor to ensure you can’t be beaten easily on a night when he dominates the opposition quite like this.
