Milwaukee Bucks Game Preview: Dec 15 vs Chicago Bulls
By Adam McGee
Major key for Milwaukee – Start aggressively
The Bulls are a team the Bucks should be expected to beat comfortably, but with real signs of life from Chicago of late this could also represent a classic case of a trap game.
The Bucks have been guilty of playing down to opponents at times over the last few seasons, although it’s an issue that has been a little less prevalent so far this year. To ensure they avoid slipping back into that pattern again on Friday, the Bucks need to look for a fast start.
Milwaukee boast a roster with top-end talent capable of overwhelming any team in the league on any given night, and that stands doubly for a matchup with the Bulls.
If the Bucks can get off to a strong offensive start while shutting the Bulls down on the defensive end, the game could effectively be over by the end of the first quarter.
The perfect template for Jason Kidd and his players to follow in this game is the approach they employed on the road against the Sacramento Kings.
In the Bulls’ case, they are not a good offensive team and so if the Bucks can create some early distance, Chicago may well be unable to make up the difference over the rest of the game.
