The Milwaukee Bucks host the Chicago Bulls on Friday night, in the first meeting of the season between the Central Division rivals.
It feels a little bit strange for the Bucks to be 26 games into the NBA season without having come up against the Chicago Bulls, but on Friday night that wait will end as the two teams will come head-to-head for the first time this season.
With the Bulls bereft of talent and embarking on a full blown rebuild, this particular meeting at the Bradley Center isn’t likely to provide the kind of fervor and excitement that previous meetings with the storied franchise from across I-94 have supplied.
Still, the Bulls should be underestimated at the Bucks’ own risk, as Fred Hoiberg‘s team come into Friday night as unlikely winners of four straight games.

With a tough couple of games coming up for the Bucks, Friday night is an important game following Wednesday’s loss in New Orleans. If the Bucks slip up against the Bulls, they’ll be running the risk of rolling off a much less desirable four game streak of their own.
With injuries continuing to limit options for the Bucks, Jason Kidd will face an anxious wait to see if either or both of Tony Snell and Matthew Dellavedova can provide reinforcements for this game.
With all of that in mind, let’s take a closer look at the action ahead, and highlight some potential keys to victory for both teams.
