Milwaukee Bucks Game Preview: Jan 1 at Toronto Raptors

Raptor to watch – DeMar DeRozan
Much like his teammate Kyle Lowry, DeRozan has spent a lot of time in the last few seasons dominating opponents in the regular season, only to see it all fall apart when the playoffs roll around.
That fact obviously hasn’t been lost on him, and in the early stages of this season, it seems like he’s working hard to make positive change.
DeRozan is shooting 33.3 percent from three-point range on 2.9 attempts per game, which is far from dazzling by the standards of 2018, but does represent an improvement for the 28-year-old.
DeRozan made only 26.6 percent of his triples on 1.7 attempts per game last season, and with his minutes down 1.1 per game this year, he’s also improved on his field goal percentage (up 1.3 to 48 percent) and assists (up 1.0 to 4.9 per game), while showing no increase in his turnovers per game.
The former All-Star had long since established himself as a major problem for opposing teams, but even with incremental improvements across the board, he’s now become even more difficult to stop.
