Milwaukee Bucks Game Preview: January 6 at Washington Wizards

Major key for Milwaukee – Provide a reaction
A disastrous third quarter for the Bucks led to a humiliating defeat against the Toronto Raptors on Friday night, in many ways, the last thing the team needed was to follow that game up immediately with a tough road game against another Eastern Conference rival.
That’s the hand the Bucks have been dealt, though, and it now falls on them to draw the positives from the situation.
A second straight loss would hurt the Bucks, but a second straight performance like Friday’s would be even more damaging.
When things started to go wrong against Toronto, it looked like the Bucks were entirely devoid of ideas for how to stop them. Players stopped moving, as did the ball, and a porous defense was accompanied by a stagnant, predictable offense.
With both teams having played and traveled through the night on Friday, Saturday’s matchup will come down to who can best maintain composure and execute effectively in spite of any potential tiredness.
Considering Friday’s disappointment at the Bradley Center, the Bucks owe it to themselves and their fans to come out with a positive reaction of some sort.
