Cause I said ‘Soe

While Giannis may have garnered the most attention for his play throughout the night, Eric Bledsoe certainly made his mark when it counted the most.

It took a while to get there, though, as like the team’s overall start, Bledsoe was a little sluggish coming out of the gate and his few miscues on the night uncharacteristically came in transition, where he often shines the most on a nightly basis.

But Bledsoe started to pick up steam during the Bucks’ strong close to the first half as he started to apply greater defensive pressure, which then forced turnovers and resulted in scoring opportunities for the Kentucky product.

That only continued in the second half as Bledsoe added some nifty finishes at the basket and his troublesome defense wreaked havoc on Wizards guard John Wall as his college backcourt partner scored just 16 points on 5-of-19 shooting from the field. To cap it all off, Bledsoe added to his clutch time greatness by burying a big three-pointer with 1:17 to go in the game, effectively giving the cushion the Bucks needed to seal the win.

In total, Bledsoe scored 21 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the field (2-for-2 from long range), corralled four rebounds, handed out four assists, grabbed three steals, recorded two turnovers and was -1 on the night.
