Milwaukee Bucks: Takeaways from 106-101 loss to Miami Heat
Sizzling Snell
Having had a relatively quiet 2018 so far, Tony Snell showed signs of his former self primarily during the first half of Wednesday night’s game.
Coming off the bench as he has for the last seven games now, Snell gave the Bucks a much needed boost midway through the first quarter by sinking back-to-back three pointers to close what had been a widening gap between them and the Heat.
Snell carried over his hot shooting a few minutes into the second quarter by hitting another pair of triples, the latter make helping the Bucks grab a hold of their first lead since the opening minutes of the game.
Unfortunately, that was the extent of Snell’s offensive impact on the Bucks as he didn’t generate another look for the rest of the night, despite having logged over 12 and a half minutes in the second half.
In total, Snell scored 12 points on 4-of-5 shooting from the field (all of those shots being from beyond the arc), tallied two rebounds and two assists each, had a block and was a -10 in nearly 24 minutes of play.
