Concerning takeaway

All game long, the Herd could not stop the Swarm from hitting from all parts of the floor on Wednesday night.

On the night, the Swarm hit 47 of their 82 attempts from the field (57 percent) and went 13-of-34 from downtown (38 percent), the latter being a key mark considering they entered the game as the worst three-point shooting team in the G League.

Like the Herd, the Swarm had six players score in double figures, four of them coming from their starting lineup (Sam Thompson, T.J. Williams, Cat Barber and Roscoe Smith) and two coming from their second unit (Marcus Paige and Terry Henderson).

Considering how dialed in they were practically from the get-go, it was going to be hard for the Herd to stop the Swarm’s hot shooting, no matter if they had fallen in their last six games entering the contest.
