Following his first ever triple-double, Khris Middleton was at it again on Monday night by standing as a crucial figure in the Bucks’ victory.
After shaking off some rust in the game’s opening few minutes, much like the Bucks as a whole, Middleton was dialed in as he was connecting on shots from all three levels of the floor by the end of the first quarter.
While his second and third quarters were relatively quiet by comparison, Middleton arguably saved his magic for the fourth as he got back up to speed by draining step back jumpers and coming through in the clutch when the Suns were clawing their way back into the game in the final few minutes.
In total, Middleton finished with 35 points on 13-of-19 shooting from the field (2-of-4 from three), six boards, three assists, two steals as well as two turnovers and was a +9 on the night.
Without Giannis Antetokounmpo and through all of the events of the day, Middleton went to work and helped play a big part in sealing a key victory, considering the state of the team up until this point.
