Milwaukee Bucks: Takeaways from 109-105 win over Phoenix Suns
All the President’s men
After missing the Bucks’ previous game due to tending to a personal matter, Malcolm Brogdon returned with a vengeance Monday night by putting in a career night.
In nearly 35 minutes of action, Brogdon scored a career-high 32 points on 11-of-14 shooting from the field (3-of-4 from beyond the arc), registered five turnovers, four rebounds, three steals, two assists, a block and was a team-high +16 for the game.
Brogdon was simply stupendous on the offensive end, whether it was hitting from downtown, capitalizing off of cuts to the basket or displaying his touch on drives to the hoop, as he has for much of the season so far.
Along with that, Brogdon put in tremendous effort defensively as he often had the unenvious task of having to check Suns star Devin Booker, who was limited to just 14 points on 2-of-14 shooting from the field (1-of-6 from deep).
Overall, it was just good to have Malcolm back on the floor, especially after seeing the balance that was missing without him during his one-game absence.
