Milwaukee Bucks Game Preview: January 26 vs Brooklyn Nets
By Adam McGee
The Milwaukee Bucks will face the Brooklyn Nets for the first time this season as they move into game two of the latest Joe Prunty era.
With Giannis Antetokounmpo listed as probable to return, the Milwaukee Bucks will likely have their best player back in action when they host the Brooklyn Nets at the Bradley Center on Friday night.
As Jabari Parker appears to edge ever closer to a return too, you could say the Bucks are starting to look more like their old selves, if not for the fact that the team’s decision earlier in the week threw a brand new look in the mix.
Friday’s matchup will mark the second game of Joe Prunty’s latest spell as interim head coach of the Bucks, and after a positive performance and result on Monday against the Phoenix Suns, the 48-year-old will be hoping to see his players build up some momentum.

With a relatively kind schedule in the run-up to the All-Star break, Milwaukee has a real chance to turn things around and make a meaningful move back toward the middle of the East’s playoff pack.
As they try to do that, they’ll have to be careful not to underestimate the Brooklyn Nets in this game, though. The Nets are well-coached and regularly make things difficult for opponents. If the Bucks allow Brooklyn to make this a close game, they run the risk of a disappointing loss.
With all of that in mind, let’s take a closer look at the action ahead, and how things might play out on Friday as the Nets visit Milwaukee.
