Who’s next?

Up next for the Herd will be the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, who they’ll take on for yet another early tip at 10 AM central time on Thursday in Allen County War Memorial Coliseum (per usual, you can catch the game on Facebook Live via the G League’s home page).

This will mark the second meeting of the season between both teams as the Mad Ants took down the Herd back on November 28 at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, winning 127-122.

While they’ve slipped a bit in their early season pace like the Herd have, the Mad Ants are tied for third in the Eastern Conference with a record of 18-13, along with the Long Island Nets.

Similar to the Herd, the Mad Ants have added reinforcements in recent weeks as they recently acquired Jamil Wilson, who experienced early season success this year as a two-way player with the Los Angeles Clippers. Along with that, current Indiana Pacers rookie and two-way player Edmond Sumner has gotten his first taste of NBA action over the last week after recovering from a torn ACL a year earlier.

Much like their meeting with the Raptors 905, the Herd will once again be put to the test if they want to find their way back in the winning column come Thursday morning.
