Milwaukee Bucks Game Preview: February 2 vs New York Knicks
By Adam McGee
Major key for New York – Use their size
While the Bucks are painfully lacking in terms of size, strength and depth at center, the Knicks have a frontcourt packed with players who fit that bill.
Even discounting Joakim Noah and all of the recent strangeness surrounding him, the Knicks boast Kristaps Porzingis, Enes Kanter, Kyle O’Quinn, Willy Hernangomez and two-way player Luke Kornet as options measuring in at 6’10” or taller.
More than just height, the likes of O’Quinn and Hernangomez in paricular have the strength to bully Milwaukee inside.
Surprisingly, the Knicks are just slightly above average as a rebounding team (12th) and just inside the top-10 (ninth) when it comes to points in the paint. If the Knicks can make their advantages in those areas pay, particularly with Milwaukee’s injuries, they could pick up a comfortable road win on Friday night.
