Milwaukee Bucks: Takeaways from 103-89 win over New York Knicks
KHA$H-ing out
Rounding out the Bucks’ once-billed marquee three, Khris Middleton was dialed in for most of the game against the Knicks on Tuesday night.
After getting off to a slow start shooting the ball throughout the first quarter, Middleton settled into a groove during the second as he found his shooting touch from some of his favorite spots on the floor (from the elbow, posting up his assignment on the block, etc.).
Along with that, Middleton chipped in a couple of makes from three-point range as well and supplied a consistent boost on the offensive end with the ball in his hands before the Bucks started to really separate themselves from the Knicks during the third quarter.
Of course, the play Middleton will be more remembered for on the night is being on the passing end of the vigorous alley oop slam supplied by Giannis Antetokounmpo over Knicks guard Tim Hardaway Jr. midway through the third quarter.
In total, Middleton posted 20 points on 8-of-15 shooting from the field (2-of-4 shooting from three), four rebounds, two assists, a steal, block and turnover each and was a +27 in his 34 minutes of play.
