Win In 6 Podcast #187: Wisconsin Herd talk for the culture
By Adam McGee
In the latest episode of our Milwaukee Bucks podcast, we catch up with the Wisconsin Herd and their dramatic drop down the standings.
The latest episode of our Win In 6 Podcast arrives on the back of Brandon Jennings’ debut for the Wisconsin Herd, at a time when interest in the Milwaukee Bucks’ G League affiliate has arguably never been higher.
Jennings is a much beloved figure in the Bucks community due to his time with the team in the NBA, and his addition to the Herd late in the season is guaranteed to bring further energy and enthusiasm to the overall Herd experience.
While Jennings’ arrival might create a kind of artificial positive feeling around the team from the outside looking in, unfortunately it can’t entirely paper over the team’s dramatic fall from grace since the calendar switched over into 2018.

We started off by talking about the various reasons for the Herd’s downturn in fortunes and their current position outside of the race for the playoffs in the G League’s Eastern Conference.
From there we moved on to some bigger picture Herd talk, trying to underline what the purpose of the Herd should be viewed as, and highlighting the many functions the franchise must perform.
On top of all of that, thanks to our very own intrepid reporter, Ti Windisch, who has been covering the Herd for the Oshkosh Herald, we got some insights into Jennings’ thoughts on his famed prediction that eventually gifted our podcast its name, and we get the answer to the Marshall Plumlee question on everyone’s lips.
Lastly, we fielded a whole host of Bucks and Herd questions from our Twitter mailbag.
Joining me for this episode, was Jordan “I believe in a Bucks curse” Treske.
