Milwaukee Bucks Game Preview: March 4 vs Philadelphia 76ers

Major key for Philadelphia – Pack the paint
Considering Milwaukee’s recent struggles, the primary focus for the 76ers should be to do what others have been doing to great effect.
In other words, Philadelphia will need to stifle Giannis Antetokounmpo and avoid giving him any sense of momentum that could help him to break out of his recent slump.
Of late, particularly as games wear on and Antetokounmpo tires, Milwaukee’s opponents have been having much greater success of packing the paint and even swarming on the Greek with double and occasional triple teams. The Sixers not only have the personnel required to do similar, but the presence to make things even more difficult with Joel Embiid guarding the rim.
With Malcolm Brogdon and Matthew Dellavedova out injured, the recent absence of Tony Snell, and Khris Middleton‘s season long difficulties from deep, Milwaukee’s problems extend to an inability to knock down the quality shots that Antetokounmpo can still create from those kind of situations.
The Bucks do have the players necessary to break out of their rut at any time, but the evidence hasn’t quite been there of late to suggest it’s imminent. As a result, slowing Antetokounmpo down and daring his teammates to beat you seems like a solid plan.
