Major key for Orlando – Dominate the glass

As the NBA’s worst rebounding team, the Bucks are used to being at a rebounding disadvantage on a nightly basis. In this case, the Magic are only marginally better rebounders than Milwaukee, though.

While the Bucks average 39.6 rebounds per game, the Magic come in at just 41.0 rebounds per game, which is only good enough for 27th in the NBA.

The advantages on both the offensive and defensive glass are minimal in Orlando’s favor, and if they’re to have any chance of beating a team that’s better than them on both the offensive and defensive end, they’ll likely need to put an emphasis on rebounding and stretching that gap further.

Nikola Vucevic and Aaron Gordon certainly have what it takes to put in dominant rebounding performances, but it will likely require some extra help from across the roster if it’s to make a meaningful difference for the Magic.
