The Milwaukee Bucks return home on Saturday needing to set things right against the Atlanta Hawks in a St. Patrick’s Day matchup
On Saturday, the Milwaukee Bucks should close out a week of games they were expected to win being much more wary than they were when they started it.
Although they prevailed professionally against the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday, Wednesday’s embarrassing defeat against the Orlando Magic should shake any sense of complacency the Bucks may have had heading into this Saturday night matchup with the Atlanta Hawks.
If the Bucks lacked focus or motivation on Wednesday, there was no good reason for it considering their playoff seeding and draft pick are at stake over the next few weeks. Against a gritty Hawks team, it will be essential to prove they’ve learned their lesson.

Unlike some of their rivals in the lottery stakes, the Hawks have a knack for keeping games particularly close and competitive, meaning the Bucks will have to play well to secure an important win on St. Patrick’s Day.
Giannis Antetokounmpo was excellent in the Bucks’ loss to the Magic, but he could use some help from his teammates starting on Saturday night, and hopefully carrying through to the end of the season.
With all of that in mind, let’s take a closer look at the action ahead, and how things might play out for the Bucks on Saturday night.
