Spur to Watch

Coming to Milwaukee off the back of a career-high scoring night of 45 points against the Utah Jazz on Friday, LaMarcus Aldridge should be brimming with confidence.

While his struggles with settling into life with the Spurs have been well documented over the past couple of seasons, it seems like everything has finally clicked into place for Aldridge in San Antonio this season.

Without Kawhi Leonard, the Spurs have needed him to step up, and with averages of 23.1 points and 8.4 rebounds on 50.7 percent shooting from the field, there can be little argument that Aldridge hasn’t taken the necessary step.

When the Bucks visited the Spurs in San Antonio earlier in the season, Aldridge had a very effective night, notching up 20 points, 12 rebounds and four assists on 8-of-14 from the field. A repeat of that performance on Sunday could very much help his team on the way to victory.
