These are the breaks

The driving factor behind the Bucks’ victory over the Warriors was their ability to capitalize on the reigning champs’ miscues and match their blazing pace all throughout the night.

For the game, the Warriors racked up 19 turnovers, and the Bucks scored 29 points off of those opportunities. With many of the Warriors’ turnovers coming off of deflections and interceptions, the Bucks often stayed engaged to perform up to their capabilities defensively, despite plenty of shaky moments on that end to start off the game.

In regard to how fastbreak scores shook out, the Warriors edged out the Bucks in that area of the contest, scoring 23 to the Bucks’ 21.

As much as mirroring the Warriors’ breakneck pace can often lead to a trap for their opponents, the Bucks were more than willing to display a number of highlights in the open floor, eventually stealing the show in front of the Warriors’ faithful inside Oracle Arena.
