Celtic to watch

Once the source of countless jokes due to Danny Ainge‘s refusal to consider trading him, nobody is laughing at Terry Rozier now.

The former Louisville Cardinal has grown into his role and become one of the NBA’s very best backup point guards, but in Irving’s absence he’s showing evidence that he may even be capable of more than that.

Over his last nine games, Rozier is averaging 18.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.4 steals per game, while shooting 39.2 percent from the field and 41.1 percent from deep.

Rozier is officially listed as questionable for Tuesday’s game, although comments from the man himself on Monday should leave little doubt as to his availability.

"“I’m playing tomorrow for sure. They just want me to take it easy and not practice today.”"

If Rozier is true to his word and takes to the Bradley Center court, expect to see him at the center of everything the Celtics are doing.
