Net to watch
While the Nets have been without standouts in terms of conventional 20-point per game scorers, they’ve had a variety of contributors who have offered solid contributions in the middle of the roster during the latest of their rebuilding seasons.
One such player who has excelled beyond that measure and may find himself in the running for a more lucrative pay day in free agency this summer is Joe Harris.
A former Cavalier, in both the college and NBA sense of that nickname, Harris has received extended opportunity this season, and proven just how reliable he is as a sharpshooter in a league that can’t get enough of three-point marksmen.
Brooklyn’s style of play is very much built around putting up a high volume of triples, but Harris importantly adds some efficiency to that mix.
For the season to date, Harris is averaging 10.7 points per game, while shooting 48.5 percent from the field and 41.1 percent from deep.
If the Bucks are to avoid an upset against the Nets, they’ll want to make sure to contain Harris within a similar range to his averages.
