Starters

A. Eric Bledsoe continued his recent stretch of positive play with 22 points on 7-of-9 shooting, including 2-of-3 from deep. He also added 10 assists, three rebounds, one steal, and one block with just one turnover. Although the guard was relatively quiet in the first half with just six points, he delivered in the second half, specifically in the fourth quarter, where he had seven points. While a high-scoring output may have been expected given the absence of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bledsoe adopted the role of distributor against the Knicks until late, which included a deep three that essentially ended the game.. C+. On a night without Giannis, it was tough sledding for Middleton, who had 22 points on an inefficient 8-of-22 from the field (including 0-of-3 from three). While he did add six rebounds and four assists, this was a tough performance when the team needed their next-best player to step up. Khris also continued his spotty defensive play, losing his man on the weak side numerous times and being late on rotations. The only saving grace for this performance was his fourth quarter, where the swingman led the Bucks in the period with eight points on 4-of-5 shooting.. Forward. Milwaukee Bucks. KHRIS MIDDLETON

B-. In his team-leading 38 minutes, Jabari Parker was solid on the night, chipping in 16 points on 7-of-15 shooting. The most surprising aspect of Parker’s performance was his 12 rebound effort, 10 of which were on the defensive end of the floor. Given his typical aversion to rebounding, it was encouraging to see Jabari step up with Milwaukee’s best rebounder in a suit for the game. Even with these positive signs, there are still glaring moments when his chemistry with teammates and feel for the game are lacking.. Forward. Milwaukee Bucks. JABARI PARKER
