Tickets to the Bledshow

Without superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo for the second straight game, the Bucks were in need of someone to steady the ship in his absence for the night. Luckily, guard Eric Bledsoe was up for the job as he went on to earn his first triple-double while in a Bucks uniform.

Playing just over 34-and-a-half minutes of action, Bledsoe posted 20 points on 7-of-17 shooting from the field (2-for-6 from three), 12 rebounds, 11 assists, three turnovers as well as three steals and was a +20 on the night.

While his efficiency was a bit off the mark for the game, Bledsoe provided a stable presence at the point of attack on both ends of the floor.

Offensively, Bledsoe was quite deferential with the ball in his hands and displayed great anticipation on the defensive end at multiple times throughout the night. Putting that all together with his commitment to coming back and hauling down rebounds, Bledsoe put in a very well rounded performance to stuff the stat sheet.

After suffering a dip in form last month, Bledsoe has hit another gear as of late while mostly reining in the wild card nature he can revert to over the course of a game. That’s good news for all Bucks fans who are looking forward to what’s in store for the 28-year old in what will be his first trip to the postseason in close to five years.
