Head-to-Head

With all the moving parts and injuries in both the Bucks’ and Celtics’ respective seasons, their four meetings this year provide little in how the battle of the benches could shake out in this series.

Given how the schedule shook out since the Bucks were a vastly different team in their first two tilts with the Celtics alone compared to now, the outlook, rotations, players available to them and even the head coach assembling all of this makes it hard to parse what may be real from past matchups.

The same is true for the Celtics and their late season injuries have further contributed to why they’re entering the postseason as the most susceptible team who holds a home court advantage in either conference.

As they’ve steadily been depleted of key and vital role players this year, the Celtics will have to rely on reserves that had little to no impact in all of their previous matchups with the Bucks this season.

Now that the Bucks have their full compliment of players available to them in time for the start of the series, that gives them an advantage over the Celtics in terms of the weapons they’ll have available to them.
