Head-to-Head

Jaylen Brown and Tony Snell are among the subsections of their respective teammates who have played in all four of the games between the Bucks and Celtics over the past season.

The numbers for how the pair have performed in those games certainly lead to some further questions too. While Brown unsurprisingly got the better of the matchup in terms of sheer volume of counting stats, Snell had a lot of success shooting, albeit on a relatively modest volume.

While Brown’s season series averages of 14.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists are proof of the impact he’s managed to have against Milwaukee, Snell’s high efficiency hints at the potential for them to possibly go to another level in the post-season.

Snell’s 6.8 points per game average against Boston is very much in line with season numbers, but his 45.5 percent from the field and 46.7 percent from deep are encouraging for the quiet Bucks swingman.

Snell attempted just 3.8 three-point attempts per game in the regular season, but if he gets looks of a similar quality in the playoffs, he’d be well-advised to let fly a little more often.
