Conclusion

Overall, the biggest difference between these two players is the pressure that rests on Jaylen Brown.

Al Horford is the most important player to the Celtics, especially with Irving out, but Brown needs to step up and do his part in order for the Celtics to win, a tall ask for a player still only in his second year.

Snell doesn’t have that stress. Antetokounmpo, Middleton, Parker, Bledsoe, and Brogdon all are expected to contribute more for the team. If his shots aren’t falling, the Bucks can play veteran Jason Terry or rookie Sterling Brown, both of whom have been good in their time on the floor this season.

While Brown has the talent edge on Snell, there shouldn’t be a big concern about this matchup for the Bucks. Snell is a player who knows his role, won’t do too much, and can definitely help prevent Brown from having too big of a game.

If Snell can keep Brown in check while also building on his performance from the regular season, any gain for the Bucks in this matchup could prove to be decisive in the overall context of the series.
