Major key for Milwaukee – Stay within reach at all times

This will be important for the Bucks throughout the series, but especially in Game 1.

Throughout the season, Milwaukee has had something of a fatal flaw in the way which they give up significant runs. Often those spells have come later in games, perhaps to deflate the Bucks after a good run of their own, but there have been times when these destructive runs have started much earlier too.

The best path to success for the Bucks against Boston will be to find a way where they can play with some level of consistency and competency for four quarters, but if that’s too much to ask, the Bucks at least have to strive to avoid giving up such runs early on.

So much has been talked about Milwaukee’s obvious talent advantage in this series, and that’s all true, but if the Bucks want to have a chance to take advantage and really make that count, they need to make sure they’re always within striking distance of the lead.

You never want to give yourself too much to do to win a playoff game, and if the Bucks can ensure they never really fall behind the 8-ball, they’ll have an excellent chance to win.
