Jabari…

To put it kindly, Jabari Parker was bad on Sunday.

Parker only played 15 minutes but scored only two points on 1-of-5 shooting. He was also a negative on the defensive end of the floor as he seemed to get caught ball-watching often or failed to get back in transition.

The most cringe-worthy stat of all for Jabari was that he was a -14 plus/minus in his 15 minutes of court time. That can often be a troublesome stat, but on this occasion it was very much reflective of the kind of impact Jabari had when he took to the court.

While it is unfair to ask Jabari to be in playoff form after only a few months of game action, he must be better than he was on Sunday if he wants to see more minutes.

As much heat as Joe Prunty takes for his rotation decisions, leaving Parker on the bench for much of Game 1 was the correct call.
