Jabari’s ongoing disappearing act

For all the intrigue surrounding Jabari Parker‘s long awaited playoff debut heading into the series, it has turned out to be an absolute nightmare for the 23-year-old two games in.

Playing just over 10 minutes in his usual role off the bench, Parker went scoreless by going 0-of-2 from the field, hauled down two rebounds, registered a turnover and was a -15 in his limited run for the game.

All the fears or concerns Parker conjured in his opening performance came to haunt him and the Bucks once again on Tuesday night as the Duke product was regularly singled out defensively, putting him in actions upon actions to force him to defend the play to rough results.

On the offensive end, Parker often floated in his spots on the floor, looking aimless and couldn’t find the bottom of the net in the limited scoring opportunities that came his way.

Between his play plummeting and his recent comments/speculation surrounding his future in Milwaukee, everything has come to a head quickly following Parker’s 35-point performance against the Denver Nuggets in the last couple of weeks of the regular season.

This is veering on reckless speculation at this point, but it’s hard not to feel like everything has reached the point of no return, likely leading to all Bucks fans coming to the conclusion that we’re potentially watching Parker’s last games in a Bucks uniform in whatever is left in this series.
